The Califone® Wireless PowerPro Package is the ideal system for those who demand the ultimate portable wireless PA system. Designed for any kind of venue, the Wireless Package covers crowds up to 2000 people. Even larger audiences and venues are addressed by adding a nonpowered support speaker or a limitless number of its wireless powered companion speakers, creating flexibility for any budget and situation.
The Wireless PowerPro package includes a 90-watt RMS master speaker (PA-916) and the first portable companion speaker with wireless capabilities (PA916-PS the 90-watt RMS), mics, tripods and stands. The master speaker (PA-916) has a 300’ wireless transmission range to its powered companion speaker for the ultimate versatility in set up and operation. The PA-916 is equipped with two 16-channel built-in wireless mic receivers and two combination XLR / 1/4” jacks for use with wired mics.It also includes a full logic CD player and a variable speed cassette recorder/player as well as a set of stereo RCA jacks for connecting external audio sources or recording devices.
In addition to its wireless capability, the PA-916 also has as an active bus circuit that can be used to connect two additional wired units by connecting an XLR cable from the Line out jack to the Line in jack on the companion speakers. The first unit in the chain is the master with each unit still retaining independent volume control. The non-powered PowerPro Support Speaker is connected with a 1/4” cable. All PowerPro series PAs feature 10” high-powered woofers that are driven by 40 ounce magnets (the most efficient in their class) and high-frequency compression drivers for optimal audio reproduction. The PowerPro Master and Companion Speakers each have independent bass and treble controls, digital master volume control, power status indicator and universal power supplies.
The master and powered powered companion speakers give added assurance during use by providing visualconfirmation of power, radio frequency and audio reception for its wireless receiver through a set of LED lights on the front of each speaker. Both also have durablefiberglass-reinforced polypropylene enclosures with rugged powder-coated perforated steel grilles and telescoping handles for easy transporting. A critical factor for use in schools, rental facilities and other venues, both units are C-UL and CE approved safe for use. And because the PowerPro shares wireless frequencies and microphones with the PresentationPro PA series, the two PA series can be used together to extend audio coverage, budgets and creates flexibility by avoiding expensive redundancies in equipment.
