The Performer Plus is the most flexible multimedia player/recorder designed for use in educational settings.
The Performer Plus™ multimedia player/recorder and stereo learning centers are designed for use during independent study, small group & whole class projects for language learning, literacy and ELL/ELD programs associated with the English Language Arts portion of the Common Core State Standards. The player doubles as a portable PA with its “voice-over” function for announcements or emergency instructions and features variable speed CD/cassette playback ideal for all types of activities from music & dance instruction to creative movement classes as well as for differentiating instruction when needed by students who need more time to master skills for comprehension. Its built-in electret mic records student responses and can be used for testing purposes, charting individual progress, or class projects.
Built with tamper-resistant speakers and rugged ABS plastic, the Performer Plus is made to withstand the rigors of daily use in educational settings so it's durable as well as long-lasting if it were to fall or be accidentally dropped. Additional features include remote control for freedom of movement around the classroom and 14 watts of output for voice and music projection through speakers that are powerful enough to reach out to a crowd of 100 students. The Performer Plus reads and plays CD/CD-R/RW and plays MP3 CDs, enabling it to play discs burned by personal computers.
With five 1/4” headphone jacks in back and a single 3.5mm headphone jack on top, the Performer Plus can be converted into a learning center without the need for an external, separate jackbox, making it perfect for a small group of differentiated learners to individually listen to audio content in classrooms and libraries. The Performer Plus is also available as a 5-Person Learning Center that includes five 2924AVPS headphones or with either a Tabletop or Rolling Cart ready-to-use Audio Pod with dedicated storage space for six 3068AV headphones, multimedia player, stereo jackbox, audio materials, books, and a special section to organize cables and cords for neat, classroom organization.
